It is a known fact that coco fibres naturally attract and bind calcium and magnesium in the substrate. This means that calcium and magnesium are only transported to your plants in a reduced form. In addition, coconut fibres contain a high amount of naturally occurring potassium, which should be taken into account to prevent overfertilisation.
This is where the Advanced Nutrients science team was able to solve the puzzle. The missing puzzle for the best possible nutrient supply/uptake during flowering on coco is called "iron". So not only does your grow on coco need the right ratio of calcium and magnesium, but the right amount of iron is also essential.
Your flower production increases the most when your plants receive the full spectrum and correct forms of substances called amino acids, which are the building blocks of proteins, terpenoids, phenols and alkaloids. This means that you provide your plants with 20 amino acids in "L-form", in a particularly important composition of L-tryptophan, L-cysteine, L-glutamate and L-glycine.
