Hesi pH+ Plus Corrector 1 L

When breeding for hydro and coco, it is necessary to adjust the water to a certain pH value. This pH range is approximately pH 6 (5.8 - 6.2). Small deviations upwards and downwards are also okay. The reason for this is that in hydroponic substrates, the watering water alone determines the environment of the roots. These substrates are neutral and only serve to anchor the roots, but can neither store fertiliser particles nor realise a constant pH value.

With soil it is different. Soil can store food and release it to the plant over a period of days, whereby the pH value in the soil drops. The watering water in hydro and coco cultivation, on the other hand, runs quickly along the roots and must then contain all the substances that the plant needs in the right concentration. Therefore, the pH value should also be at an optimal level at the time of feeding to allow maximum uptake of all nutrients.

If the pH is too low, the roots will be damaged.

If the pH is too high, not all nutritional components can be absorbed. A plant likes constant pH values. Always check the pH in your nutrient container and adjust it if necessary.

Application

Carefully correct the pH value in the fertiliser tank, using drops if necessary, and note the amount of pH corrector used and for the next fertilisation process.
