Mills Cal-Mag – Optimal nutrient supply for strong plants
Mills Cal-Mag is a high-quality supplementary fertiliser specially developed to provide plants with the essential secondary nutrients calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg). These two minerals are essential for cell structure, photosynthesis and the healthy development of your plants – especially during periods of intensive growth or when using soft water, osmosis water or CO₂ systems.
Why use Mills Cal-Mag?
- Strengthens cell walls & promotes root growth. Calcium supports cell structure and makes plants more resistant to stress, pests and diseases.
- Optimises photosynthesis. Magnesium is the central component of chlorophyll – essential for maximum light absorption and energy production.
- Prevents deficiency symptoms. Ideal for Cal-Mag deficiencies, which often manifest themselves in leaf discolouration, growth stops or weak flowers.
- Perfect for all growing media. Whether soil, coconut fibre or hydro – Mills Cal-Mag is universally applicable and compatible with all common nutrient lines.
Application & dosage
- Preventive: 0.5–1 ml per litre of water
- In case of deficiency: up to 2 ml/L depending on requirements and stage of development
- Shake well before use and add to the watering water or hydro systems.
Ideal in combination with Mills Basis A&B
For maximum yields and healthy plants, we recommend combining with Mills main nutrients. This allows you to utilise the full potential of your plants in every Phase.
