The frux Organic Herb & Seeding Soil is a ready-to-use propagation substrate from the proven frux soil range. Particularly fine substrate for healthy, strong young plants from seeds or cuttings and for growing and cultivating fresh garden herbs. Fine pumice loosens the structure and thus creates optimal conditions for germination and root formation.
The organic fertilisers and their nutrients contained in the soil are continuously transformed by the soil fauna (microorganisms) into a form that can be absorbed by the plants and can then be taken up by the roots. This ensures an organic and biological long-term effect of the fertilisers. The salt content at the roots is thus significantly lower than with mineral fertilisers. Clay minerals ensure the water and nutrient supply that is important for these plants.
Starting materials:
50% organic soil material (raised bog peat, moderately decomposed, clay, vegetable matter from gardening and landscaping (compost), vegetable matter from forestry (wood fibre, rock (pumice), carbonic acid lime, organic-mineral NPK fertiliser.
Tip:
Only use new or clean sowing containers. When covering the seeds, note whether they are light or dark germinators. Always keep the soil well moist. For plant propagation, the optimal temperature range is between 17°C and 21°C. Start top dressing when the first roots have formed. When cultivating herbs and vegetable plants in pots or planters on the balcony or terrace, choose a container that is as large as possible, as the plants need a lot of water and nutrients as they grow. When planting out in the garden, mix the existing garden soil with the frux soil in a ratio of 1:1. After potting or planting, press the soil down lightly and then water well. The plants are well supplied with all necessary nutrients and trace elements for approx. 4 weeks. Start fertilising after 4-6 weeks.
