PLANT!T aeros - Deep Water Culture Hydroponics System
The PLANT!T aeros is a state-of-the-art Deep Water Culture (DWC) system, also known as a bubbler system. These hydroponics systems are particularly popular because they require very little growing medium, but at the same time provide a rich nutrient/water solution - ideal for fast-growing plants and short-lived crops.
In the PLANT!T aeros, each plant is held in a net pot filled with a substrate such as clay granules, while the roots are immersed directly in an oxygen-rich nutrient solution. An air pump with a submersible air stone continuously supplies the roots with oxygen, accelerating growth and keeping the roots healthy.
The bubbles generated by the air stone ensure that the nutrient solution is constantly mixed and remains oxygen-rich, minimising the risk of root rot and optimising nutrient uptake.
Thanks to the practical inspection opening, pH and EC values can be easily monitored, allowing you to adjust the nutrient solution at any time to ensure optimal growing conditions.
