Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, the 6-in-1 meter is ideal for garden plants, greenhouse plants, fruit trees, potted plants, vegetables, lawns and more.
Whether you are an amateur or professional gardener, this soil tester helps you measure all the important factors for plant growth and development in a single step. This makes the 6-in-1 meter an indispensable tool for anyone seeking healthy and productive plants. It is easy to use and the instructions for use are clearly described.
Features:
- The 6-in-1 tester can measure in soil but also in liquids! This multifunctional meter can measure pH, EC (conductivity), moisture percentage, fertilizer percentage, light intensity (sunlight only) and temperature. This gives you a comprehensive insight into your plants' growing conditions. All factors that are important for a plant are combined in one measuring device.
- Thanks to the large, backlit display, the measurements are easy to read regardless of the lighting conditions. The display can be tilted at 45 degrees, making it easier to read from different angles and increasing user comfort.
- The portable and robust design of this soil meter, with a specially thickened 13 mm electrode (its length is 20 cm) made of composite material, not only offers high accuracy but is also very robust and break-resistant. This makes the meter ideal for use in a variety of conditions. The meter is powered by 4x AAA batteries (1.5V) (included), which have a long lifespan.
- In addition, the meter is suitable for measuring nutrients (EC) and pH in hydroponics, for example. But there are many more applications such as drinking water, well water, rainwater, spring water and natural water such as ditches, ponds and rivers.
- With the included pH calibration powders and EC calibration liquid, you can maintain measurement accuracy by calibrating from time to time. The calibration is very user-friendly.
How to use the meter and some tips:
- Switch on the meter and insert it vertically at least 8 cm into the soil or liquid. You can now read all the individual parameters at once. Take at least 2 measurements in quick succession to see if both measurements show approximately the same result. If this is not the case, take another measurement at approximately the same point.
- To measure the pH and fertiliser content reliably, the soil must be well moist. Measure outside, preferably after a rain shower, and water potted plants generously first and then start measuring after 15-30 minutes.
- Always measure in free soil without obstacles such as branches, roots, stones, etc. and never push or pull the meter into the soil with force. If the soil is very hard, loosen it with a shovel before measuring.
- If you want to store the measured values (temporarily), press the ‘Hold’ button.
- After use, rinse the meter under the tap and dry the probe with the supplied cloth.
