Athena Cleanse – Clean systems, healthy plants

Athena Cleanse is a powerful cleaning solution based on stabilised sodium hypochlorite (NaClO), specially developed for cleaning and maintaining irrigation systems, tanks and substrates. It reliably removes organic deposits, biofilms, algae and pathogenic germs – without harming the plants.

With a concentration that is safe for roots, substrates and system components, Athena Cleanse ensures maximum hygiene, improved oxygen uptake and a healthy microbial environment in the root zone.

Areas of application:

• Cleaning & disinfection of drip lines, hoses and irrigation systems
• Prevention of biofilm, bacteria, algae & blockages
• Supports root health & oxygen availability
• As an additive in the nutrient solution or for regular system flushing

Application & dosage:

Athena Cleanse can be used in a variety of ways depending on the purpose:

General application (preventive):

• 0.5–1.3 ml per litre of water (equivalent to 5–13 ml per 10 L)

For heavier deposits or blockages:

• 1.3–2.6 ml per litre of water (13–26 ml per 10 L)

Leaf spray:

• 100 ml/L water (test on a small area first)

Surface cleaning:

• 100 ml/L water for cleaning work surfaces, equipment and systems

Important: Always prepare fresh, protect from light and do not mix with acids or organic products.
