Advanced Hydroponics is one of the iconic Dutch plant fertiliser manufacturers that set the tone in the Dutch indoor grower market some 30 years ago. Dutch Formula's three-component nutrition, consisting of 1 Grow, 2 Bloom and 3 Micro, is now known throughout the world by several generations of home gardeners, and for good reason.
Each of the three products has its own qualities and properties, aimed at different stages of development of your home crop. Dutch Formula Bloom is mainly used during the flowering phase, the most productive time in a plant's life. Bloom contains high concentrations of phosphorus (P) and magnesium (Mg), which ensure that your plants receive a balanced mix of nutrients for bud formation during the flowering period. Phosphorus also plays an important role in photosynthesis and general growth, both in the growing and flowering phases. Magnesium is another important element for promoting photosynthesis. Without magnesium, the leaves cannot absorb light and convert it into energy. Plants deficient in magnesium will eventually starve, even if they get enough light.
You start with Advanced Hydroponics Bloom as with Grow and Micro in the early growth phase, but at a lower dosage. From the flowering stage onwards, slowly increase the dosage from 1 to 3 ml. For more details, see the Advanced Hydroponics fertiliser chart.
You can use all Dutch Formula products on any type of substrate, whether soil, coco, hydro, mapito, rockwool or hydro pellets. It doesn't matter if you grow indoors or outdoors.
